My name Vikas Amrohi
From a young student fascinated by the intricacies of Computer Science and Mathematics, I embarked on an educational journey that laid the foundation for a dynamic career. My academic pursuit led me to rank 246 in the Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (MNREC) entrance exam, securing a place at AKGEC for a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA), which I completed in 2003.
I began my career as a Visual Basic and PHP developer, working for about a year before discovering my true passion: web analytics and digital marketing. This field captivated me like nothing else, and in 2005, I started to pivot my career. Alongside my job, I took on the role of a trainer, sharing my knowledge in digital marketing and web analytics, becoming one of the early pioneers in the industry.
In 2008, I had the honor of presenting a paper on SRIRE (Search Engine Rank Improvement using Reverse Engineering) at IIT Delhi. This milestone was followed by an opportunity to consult for an IT company developing digital marketing tools—a turning point that fueled my passion for research and innovation. I delved deeper into creating a crawler and later developed a ranking algorithm for a renowned KPO. My journey continued as I ventured into product development, where I crafted the first medical PPT search engine for a notable company.
My career then took me internationally, where I spent significant time in Lagos, working with one of the largest local search engines. My expertise expanded across various sectors, including media and hospitality, enriching my understanding of analytics from every angle. Despite these achievements, my passion for teaching never waned. As one of the first trainers in the digital marketing and analytics industry, I am committed to sharing practical, hands-on knowledge with the next generation of learners.
Today, I specialize in performance marketing and analytics, continuously evolving by integrating AI to stay ahead of the curve.
